Individuals attending Moate Adult Training Center, along with Rosemary Langtry artist, have been busy the last number of weeks creating art work for a project entitled ‘Time to Think’.
This project funded by the Department of Communication, Climate Action & Environment under the Anti Dumping Initiative makes funding available to local authorities and communities to continue the fight against illegal dumping. St. Hilda’s Services and St. Mary’s National School were involved in this project.
Individuals attending Moate Adult Training Center created 3 amazing creations, based on everyday items that are thrown away; ‘Autumn Lady’, ‘Jewels’ and ‘Toy Soldier’. Students attending St. Mary’s National School created 3D litter letters.
Well done to all who took part, art work is on display across from St. Hilda’s Services, Grace Park Road.
