Friends of St. Hilda’s Church Gate collection takes place Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th June 2026, at all churches in the Athlone Area (St. Peter’s, St. Mary’s, Coosan,) including Tubberclair, Tang and Ballinahown Churches.
Moate Area
Friends of St. Hilda’s Church Gate collection takes place Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September 2026, at all churches in the Moate Area (Carmelite Moate, St. Patrick’s Moate, Mount Temple, Castledaly) including Boher, Ballymore and Drumraney Churches.

Donation from Athlone and District Housing Association
Friends of St. Hilda’s were delighted to receive an early Christmas present this week, with a very generous donation of €50,000 from Athlone and District Housing Association.
Mr. Ciaran Temple (Athlone & District Housing Association) presented a cheque to delighted members of the Board of St. Hilda’s Services; Mrs Angela Flynn, Mr. John Blackweir, Mr. Michael Evans, Mrs Ann Kenny, and Mr. John Keena.
